Villa Canggu Beachside Villas - Gu

OVERVIEW
The Canggu Beachside Villas are a wonderful vacation choice for families or groups looking for a luxurious beachside haven in Bali's sought-after location Berawa located between Canggu and Seminyak. Located fifty metres from a gorgeous natural lagoon, with the renowned Café del Mar and Lalaguna just a 100 m stroll from your front door, the three villas have been designed to an extremely high standard, each with its own unique character. Five-bedroomed Villa Gu, four-bedroomed Villa Vida and three-bedroomed Villa Boa all have private entrances, walled gardens and large swimming pools, and can be combined in any number of ways to meet your specific holiday requirements – sleeping up to 24 people in total. A contingent of helpful villa staff is at your disposal to tend to your every need.

VILLA LAYOUT
Five-bedrooM Villa Gu is built in an L-shape around a 15 x 4-metre private pool and tropical garden. It consists of a main building and a separate garden annex – both spread over two floors.

The ground floor of the main building has a spacious indoor lounge area with a guest washroom and kitchen. One of the three master bedrooms is also located on the ground floor and can be accessed either via the lounge or the garden.

Two further master bedrooms are situated on the first floor of the main building which can be reached via a staircase from the lounge. An additional staircase on the first floor provides access to a rooftop terrace with a seating area.

The two guest bedrooms are in the garden annex – one on the ground floor and one on the first floor.

LIVING AREAS
INDOOR
Villa Gu has been cleverly designed with a seamless transition between its indoor spaces and the surrounding gardens. The bright and airy lounge is a great example of this, with its floor-to-ceiling windows bringing in plenty of daylight and fresh air. Its dark concrete floors, earthy furnishings and carefully chosen art pieces provide an ingenious contrast with the rest of Villa Gu’s modern minimalist design. Taking up almost the entire downstairs space of the main building, the lounge has plenty of comfortable seating, as well as a beautiful corner sofa and a huge flat-screen TV. Next to the lounge is a spacious kitchen with all mod cons, including a wine cooler and a microwave.

OUTDOOR
The villa’s outdoor dining area is furnished with a solid wooden table which comfortably seats ten people. Here you can enjoy alfresco dining at its most tranquil while overlooking the huge statue of Hindu deity Ganesha and enjoying the gentle sounds of the nearby water feature. Adjacent to the lounge, there’s a spacious semi-covered outdoor terrace with additional seating and sun loungers – a perfect spot for escaping the midday sun.
Villa Gu has a beautifully kept tropical garden with a meticulously manicured grass lawn – great for some early morning sun salutations. It also has a 15 x 4-metre private pool and an extensive sun deck with loungers and umbrellas.

MASTER BEDROOMS
Villa Gu has three very large master bedrooms located in the main building, one has a king-size bed and the other two have a split queen-size bed, separate toilet and ensuite bathroom with a rain shower and double vanity.

The downstairs master bedroom’s ensuite also has a semi-outdoor section with a lovely stone bathtub that overlooks a private patio garden. The two master bedrooms upstairs have an outdoor terrace with awesome views over the garden and the surrounding neighbourhood.

GUEST BEDROOMS
The two guest bedrooms in the garden annex are mirror images of each other and have split queen-size beds. Both bedrooms have a large flat-screen TV, ceiling fan and air conditioning, as well as an ensuite bathroom with rain shower and double vanity.

LOCATION
The Canggu Beachside Villas are located in the village of Berawa on the border between Canggu and Seminyak. Berawa is rapidly becoming a hotspot for surfers who enjoy riding its long beach break, as well with foodies who revel in its dazzling number of coffee shops, delis and restaurants, and shoppers who will enjoy browsing the many boutiques in nearby Canggu.

The villas are only a one-minute walk from the beach and from a beautiful natural lagoon, where colourful outriggers are pulled up on the sands, ready to head out to sea on their nightly fishing trips.

To get to the beach you’ll walk past La Laguna, a stunning beach bar and restaurant entirely made out of driftwood, and probably one of the most photogenic spots on the island. From there, take a picturesque stroll along the sand towards other popular surfing spots such as Batu Bolong Beach (3km) and Echo Beach (4km) to the north. The swell is quite strong on this side of the island, so we don’t recommend swimming.

Walk five hundred metres along the beach to the south and you’ll be able to indulge in the glitz and glamour of some of Seminyak’s most popular beach clubs like Tropicola, W Hotel, Ku Dé Ta and Potato Head.
