Villa Ambra

Villa Ambra is a 5-bedroom beachfront villa at Pererenan, on Bali's west coast near Canggu. Part of the world-renowned Pantai Lima Estate, it combines one of the island's most sought-after locations with casual luxury, total privacy and complete serenity. It even has its own private cinema and well-stocked library with iMac and printer. All five suites have verandas overlooking the ocean, and differ in design from each other. Expansive gardens and lawn surround the infinity pools and extend right to the beach

Villa Ambra’s Owners live in the villa several months of the year – and truly makes Villa Ambra a home away from home. The Owners have high expectations of comfort and practicality. Furniture, fittings, fixtures – not only have to look good, they have to be genuinely comfortable and they have to function the way they are meant. Most importantly, the divine villa staff will look after you, superbly.

Villa Ambra offers 45 metres of beach frontage. You simply step off the grass and on to the sand. There are two interconnected infinity pools. The larger infinity pool totals 100 square metres, while the children’s pool is 21 square metres and only 60 cm deep. You can enjoy the garden jacuzzi which is large enough for eight adults. There are very comfortable lounging and dining areas right at the edge of the beach, as well as a shady bale to relax in. Both provide unobstructed ocean and sunset views.

All five bedrooms have ocean views and are each completely different in design and ambience. Each has its own en-suite bathroom, individually designed and furnished. There is a large sitting room on the ground floor and another upstairs. Both are open to sea breezes.
There are two outside dining tables, each seating ten, in different locations.
Other facilities include an air-conditioned indoor dining room for 10 and which also has French doors which can be flung open instead, a home cinema with high definition projector and wide screen and expansive gardens and lawn extend right to the beach.

Villa Ambra is fortunate to have three highly skilled chefs, who provide an eclectic menu selection offering Western, authentic Indonesian, and other Asian cuisine. Their Thai food is particularly awesome. We want you to feel as comfortable in our villa as you would if it were your own. That means you choose what food, soft drinks, beers, wines and spirits you want to enjoy, you set a budget, and you give your butler the money to cover your shopping. Your butler arranges your purchases from local markets, wholesalers, and delicatessens, etc. There is a 15% handling fee for any shopping we do on your behalf.

Villa Ambra is home to four gentle and well-behaved Bali dogs. If you cannot accept their presence, then you must not book the villa, because they are part of it.

Facilities
• Villa Ambra has 16 wonderful staff, with 365/24 attendance, including a Villa Manager, Head and Under-Butlers, Cooks, Helpers, Engineers etc.
• Use of the villa owners’ two personal 7-seater MPVs and drivers for up to 8 continuous hours six days a week each, free of charge except for fuel. These vehicles provide comfort and convenience with their electric sliding doors. Additional hours and/or vehicles can be arranged at pre-agreed cost.
• Spa – excellent practitioners can be brought in at cost to provide a full range of services at a fraction of what would be charged in a 5-star hotel.
• High-speed fibre wifi.
• Private cinema (196″ screen) with large selection of DVDs.
• Library well stocked with books, games, and jigsaw puzzles, and an iMac with printer.
• Mountain bikes, kites, and fishing rods.
• Reasonable laundry requirements are handled free of charge. Fine items and dry cleaning are sent out and charged at cost.
• Food and beverages are charged at cost, with the addition of a 15% handling fee.
• Tennis court and gym, shared with the other four villas on the estate, which may be used free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
